Climate Justice Weekend of Action

At synod assembly I volunteered for the climate justice taskforce. You may have seen in the synod newsletter that we have planned some special events. I invite your congregations to join one in Niagara.

As part of the Season of Creation, St Luke’s Ridgeway is holding a letter writing workshop at 2pm on September 22. We will be reaching out to Members of Parliament in favour of A Fossil Fuel Non Proliferation Treaty. A sample letter will be provided. The Secretary General of the United Nations has said “It is climate crunch time.” We as Christians need to act. Come, be part of the solution.
